We Are Looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to Join Our Team


If you have solid experience in internet marketing and would like to work in the Tourism Industry while advancing your skills, we’d love to meet you!

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be working with a Senior Strategist and a Technical Team to create and execute marketing strategies. You’ll be responsible for production of marketing tasks, as well as general reporting. Additionally, you’ll be writing content for newsletters, websites, advertising, and itineraries.

Digital Marketing Specialist Job Description and Responsibilities


A Digital Marketing Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

  • Execute marketing tasks from marketing plans, marketing proposals, and from client requests
  • Work with the Senior Strategist to create integrated, multi-channel marketing plans
  • Orchestrate the production of marketing projects with other team members and vendors
  • Create reports that illustrate our contribution to client goals. Deliver these reports and provide explanation, education, and suggestions directly to clients.
  • Provide help & support to clients via phone, email, screenshare, and video conference
  • Help lead and produce our internal marketing efforts
  • Write original content for clients; sometimes independently, sometimes as a collaboration with client
  • Light project management and project orchestration
  • Uncover and sell potential and overlooked work and projects with existing clients
  • Attend 2-3 professional conferences per year

Digital Marketing Specialist Job Requirements and Qualifications


The qualified candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
  • At least 2 years of internet marketing experience in the following channels:
    • Email marketing
    • Social marketing
    • Paid search
    • Website marketing
  • Solid experience in producing internet marketing content: email; websites; ads; social channels
  • Very comfortable using Google Analytics, Excel, WordPress
  • Basic HTML knowledge
  • Ability to switch between many small tasks throughout the day and remain efficient
  • Ability to push through difficulties and problem solve independently
  • Very good written, spoken, and in-person communication skills
  • Very good organization skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Will work remotely

Digital Marketing Specialist Compensation and Perks


This is a contract to hire position, so you’ll start out as an hourly contractor. We’ll have a review within 1-2 months and transition to a full-time salaried position.

  • 32-40 hours per week, with occasional exceptions
  • Mostly 9-5 with flexibility when arranged in advance
